The simplest answer that no one tells you is: post short videos!
That’s right!
Short!
From my experience with Youtube’s Shorts format, the smaller the video display size, the MORE views you’ll get.
The user will view and review the video multiple times if it is shorter than 20 seconds compared to 1 minute videos.
Look at the image below:

Note that the shorter the viewing time, the higher the percentage of views.
It is rational to come to the conclusion that the shorter the time, the user will review it, because the short time gives “the feeling of having missed something and that he has not noticed”, therefore, he will see it again.
Of course the video must have viral appeal.
Viral shorts example
Look at the example below:

The average duration of views is 10 seconds, but the video is 7 seconds!
The average view percentage is 152%!

See what this short video did:
- 2,600 views
- almost 8 hours of viewing
- 16 new subscribers
It is good to remember that this data of views are not valid for channel monetization, but are valid for new subscribers.
How to monetize Youtube Shorts
- choose a short viral video;
- edit the video in Canva to include CTAs in the video;
- upload the video to Youtube Studio in Shorts format;
- make an emotive and eye-catching headline with the keyword;
- make a complete description, with the keyword and with the affiliate link;
- don’t forget to put several tags with the video keyword;
- make first video comment with keyword, affiliate link, like and pin comment.
With all that done, just wait!
